From the Tides, To Your Table

The Boatyard is a reimagined coastal chophouse and raw bar, rooted in the rich maritime history of Shelter Island. Inspired by the building’s legacy as the original Chart House and later Fiddler’s Green, we’re honoring its story while crafting a new destination for San Diego dining. With prime steaks, fresh seafood, and timeless nautical charm, The Boatyard is where history and hospitality meet.

ICONIC WATERFRONT RESTAURANT REIMAGINED

This project is driven by a team of seasoned restaurateurs and entrepreneurs, all with extensive industry expertise, a history of successful ventures, and strong ties to the local community.

2-Star Michelin Chef Jason McLeod and featuring nautical designs by Paul Basile, The Boatyard is poised to become Point Loma's staple once again.

Drawing on the rich maritime history of the area, the restaurant will feature a menu centered around fresh, locally-sourced seafood, prime steaks, and an extensive wine and cocktail program.

Not to mention, the first ever speakeasy in Point Loma.

THINK OF US AS YOUR BLUE COLLAR YACHT CLUB.

We call The Boatyard the Blue Collar Yacht Club because it captures the spirit of Point Loma—where hardworking locals and seafaring souls come together to enjoy great food, good company, and a touch of coastal elegance without the pretense.

INVESTOR OPPORTUNITIES

At The Boatyard, we’re crafting a space that feels like home. Our vision is to rejuvenate a historic Point Loma landmark, preserving its rich history and community heritage while reimagining it for the next generation.

For years, locals have yearned for a space they can truly call their own again. We’re answering that call by fostering an atmosphere of warmth, hospitality, and belonging. Our commitment is to offer exceptional experiences at fair prices, ensuring everyone can enjoy the comfort, care, and culinary excellence that make The Boatyard a place to gather, celebrate, and feel at home.

“After spending time with The Boatyard team and learning about their vision for revamping the Fiddlers Green space, I knew it was a perfect fit. There is something special about working with a team that wants to move forward while respecting the history and story of a location admired for many years. I have always believed that telling a story is part of a restaurant’s journey, and there is a beautiful story about to unfold here that I had to be part of. This vision made for a very easy decision, and I am excited to be part of this special journey.”
